\ud83c\udf0d Working with an international team is one of the current challenges: knowing how to listen, knowing how to add, knowing how to respect, knowing how to reach a consensus, knowing how to give up... We have been taught a lot of knowledge throughout our lives, basically technical knowledge and, with complete certainty, success. Personal and professional - for me - is based on knowing how to work as a team.<\/span>
\nI am aware that this is a very strong statement. I would love to know your opinion on this.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\n\ud83c\udf0d To reinforce the importance of teamwork, I want to share with you my latest experience with teams of international trainers.<\/span>
\nWhen a client in Spain asks us for a project that will be exported to European countries, our responsibility is even greater. It is about adapting strategy, content and dynamics to different audiences and different cultures. Regardless of whether the company is the same, each European delegation has a different way of thinking, working and executing. And, therefore, \u201cthe challenge is more of a challenge.\u201d<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\n\ud83c\udf0d In these last two months I have been working with a fantastic team of international trainers for a multinational company.<\/span>
\nThe European project we are working on has its origins in Spain, which implies that the previous research to configure training at the European level must be extrapolated to different languages. This implies universal images (without texts), \u201cexportable\u201d creativity, transversal structures. Everything is designed, from the first moment, to be adapted to different languages and different cultures.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nHow do we maintain the essence of training?<\/span>
\nAll team trainers ensure that we meet the objectives defined for the program: same materials, same technical resources, same structure...<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nWhat does each team trainer contribute to the project?<\/span>
\nExperience, empathy, respect, cultural and corporate knowledge, assertiveness, creativity...<\/span>
\nFrom my point of view, the key to success in international projects is to trust the team, to offer basic guidelines so that each person feels \u201cfree\u201d in the execution.<\/span>
\nWhen I have felt \u201ccorseted\u201d, the discomfort in the execution has prevented me from giving the best of myself. Therefore, I suggest giving instructions, suggesting parameters, without imposing and allowing what I like to call \u201cpersonal flexibility\u201d: each trainer must surround their training with their personality, their charisma and their communicative style.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nWorking as a team we are all \u201cwinners\u201d!<\/span><\/p>\n
