{"id":3237,"date":"2022-10-24T18:24:45","date_gmt":"2022-10-24T17:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/midnightblue-snail-644681.hostingersite.com\/?p=1976"},"modified":"2022-10-24T18:24:45","modified_gmt":"2022-10-24T17:24:45","slug":"professional-mentoring-for-professionals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mariamunozroca.com\/en\/professional-mentoring-for-professionals\/","title":{"rendered":"Professional Mentoring for Professionals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Happy to work mentoring with people who believe in continuous improvement. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">We enrich each other and at the same time, we reinforce each other.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">Thank you <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">@lauraraule<\/span>t for trusting me as a mentor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">The number of professionals who recognize the need for mentoring is increasing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>When do we need mentoring?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">When we have a specific need.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">When we want a personalized treatment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">When we want immediate results.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Who is mentoring aimed at?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">To professionals who want to improve. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">We know that improving requires perseverance, practice, dedication, motivation... and, above all, time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">I always comment that we must accept that some people are not at the right time to make this effort and we must respect that.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">When a leader asks me how to start mentoring in a company, I always suggest that they ask their teams: \u201cWho wants to improve?\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">It may seem a priori that everyone will answer affirmatively. People who are truly focused on improvement communicate it with their attitude, with their look, with their proactivity, and not just with their words. It is up to you to select who is really prepared for mentoring.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>What can we focus on in mentoring?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Any work area is susceptible to being mentored.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Based on my most recent experience, professionals need to learn to relate better in 3 areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">How I relate to myself: self-demand, perfectionism, responsibility.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">How I relate to others: team leadership, conflict resolution, customer service.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">How I relate to my environment: with my company, with my daily life, with uncertainty. Planning, decision making, monitoring.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Where do we start?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">One hour a week, with a personalized objective, applied to 3 work situations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Why only one goal?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">To put focus.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">For what 3 work situations?<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">To verify that our objective applies to different contexts and confirm that it is worth dedicating our time to improve.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">To practice, practice, practice until we gain confidence and power.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800080;\">To transfer the learning acquired to all the professional challenges we encounter daily and continue growing.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Mentoring that works is planned mentoring, with rights and obligations between the mentee and the mentor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">It is a team commitment, an agreement in which both parties communicate, negotiate and, above all, enjoy the results!!<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Feliz de trabajar el mentoring con personas que creen en la mejora continua.
