CAN WE BE EFFECTIVE TRAINERS THROUGH A VIRTUAL PLATFORM?<\/span><\/p>\n

After 4 months providing virtual training through platforms such as ZOOM, TEAMS OR ADOBE CONNECT, <\/span>The answer is overwhelming: YES!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course we need to prepare specifically to master and optimize this new Training and Learning channel.<\/span><\/p>\n

IF YOU WANT YOU CAN\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Also on this occasion this motto is applied in virtual training. As teachers, we are obliged to continue learning day by day. If we are trainers by vocation, we know that #continuousimprovement and #continuouslearning are part of our DNA. Let's lead by example. <\/span><\/p>\n

All teachers, trainers, teachers, educators, facilitators, coaches... we are all obliged to update ourselves to offer the best service to our Clients. Yeah!! Our CLIENTS, our students in schools and Universities, our participants in companies and institutions... deserve to learn from professionals who face the evolution of education with enthusiasm and strive to learn. virtual training, virtual gamification, virtual interaction,\u2026 VIRTUAL LEARNING.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

THE BIG DIFFERENCE: WEBINARS VERSUS INTER-ACTIVE VIRTUAL TRAINING.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the beginning of this stage we are experiencing, one-way webinars proliferated. A professor held a class-conference and at the end the participants wrote their questions via chat. In some cases, they received a response. In other cases, no.<\/span><\/p>\n

Is a webinar really training?<\/span><\/p>\n

From my point of view, a webinar is information, not training.<\/strong> They are content provided by an expert in a specific area and enriches us because it increases our knowledge, without practice, without applicability.<\/span><\/p>\n

Virtual Training must always be interactive and place the student\/participant at the center. And above all, it must focus on practice and applicability, accompanying the participant to "undo" their fears and concerns. Yeah!! The student is the protagonist and the trainer is at their service, to Enhance their Learning, Motivate them to Action and give them Feedback to guarantee the best results.<\/span><\/p>\n

EDGAR DALE'S LEARNING PYRAMID APPLIED TO VIRTUAL TRAINING<\/span><\/p>\n

As we know, we learn more when our role as a student is active, when we share, discuss, participate, interact and practice. In person and virtually. <\/span><\/p>\n

We have the great fortune to live and enjoy a digital era that offers us the opportunity to reinvent ourselves every day. Let's take advantage of the tools that allow us to train virtually in an interactive, enjoyable, gamified and participatory way! We will all enjoy more and learn better.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are already many companies that are training their Internal Trainers to be the best Virtual Trainers. I encourage Colleges, Universities, Business Schools, Corporations and Institutions to follow their example. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
