Improve your Personal Leadership

To start the new year with strength and energy, I want to share with all of you the 6 secrets of Personal Leadership: the 6 C's of Change!

Yes, we are experiencing moments of economic, social, political changes... that influence our personal and family daily lives.

What attitude should we adopt in the face of these continuous changes that surround us?

Be and feel responsible for our lives and lead these changes from the SELF. This means taking the reins of our lives, consciously and bravely.

What are the 6 C's of Change?

  1. KNOWLEDGE: Do you know yourself? Do you know the people you work with and share your life with well? Do you know your company, your city, your environment well...? The first step to lead our lives and lead change is to deepen our knowledge. I feel that many times we give our opinion without knowing, we criticize without prior information and we censor without being aware of the consequences...
  2. TRUST: Trust is built with actions, not words. In order for them to trust us, we must lead by example, demonstrate our beliefs and our values with consistent behavior that generates credibility. First, we have to care about what we do in our daily lives and then we will reap results because we will be leading by example. And we will even be able to lead others when our self-leadership is complete. Remember the words of Bill Hybels: “You are the most difficult person you will ever have to lead.”
  3. CONCENTRATION: Do you often feel stressed? Do you find it difficult to concentrate? Do you get upset easily? Of course the changes we are experiencing do not leave us indifferent... they create insecurities, they create fears and doubts... We need to be present to the maximum to lead our lives, seek our inner peace to think, escape from the physical and psychological noises that destabilize us... To To lead your life you must take care of your health and your mind. You must take time, think about yourself, your needs and your well-being. If you are well, you will be able to face the change with a positive attitude. If we don't feel good, we can't lead ourselves...
  4. COMMUNICATION: This year we have experienced many confrontations, we have witnessed disputes, debates without a final agreement, lack of negotiation... Communication has been conspicuous by its absence... For next year, let us try to respect the opposing opinion, listen empathetically, dialogue, avoid aggressiveness and practice constructive assertiveness, 5 priority elements of Leader Communication.
  5. COLLABORATION: when we work together the result is better. Let's practice inclusion, synergy, help, unconditional support... Adding and Cooperating are the objectives of the Leader in the face of Change.
  6. CREATIVITY: Those of you who know me know that I am a fan of Creativity. Increasing our daily creativity will guarantee us leading more effectively and also in a more fun way, accepting challenges as opportunities to feel more alive and evolve.

I wish you all a Happy New Year with many minutes of Personal Leadership!!
