Autonomous or Superman?
With this article I want to praise the self-employed for their spirit of continuous learning that leads them to enroll in courses in communication, sales, negotiation, emotional intelligence, English, accounting, team motivation, creativity, computing, social networks, networking...
Their training needs go beyond their technical area of activity: teachers, chefs, designers, managers, carpenters, psychologists, lawyers, attorneys, hairdressers, engineers, drivers...Everyone must have knowledge beyond their specific profession: Self-employed people in our country are people who must gather technical, social, emotional, commercial knowledge...
And the question I ask is:
Who supports and guides them on the path of training?
Of course they are proactive people, many of them self-taught and with a great spirit of improvement. And they look for and find diverse ways to complete their knowledge based on the expectations of their clients.
Fortunately, more and more City Councils support this group: self-employed people and small businesses that need to increase their skills to expand the range of their professional possibilities.
Fira Cabrils Professional

Since 2015, the Cabrils City Council has been holding Training Sessions for these professionals in order to complete their training in social and managerial skills:
In 2015, the first edition of the “Fira Cabrils Professional” was inaugurated, focused on providing tools that would help this group grow their business, with a dynamic of self-knowledge that contributed to defining the positioning of each professional in their respective market.
In 2016, the Cabrils City Council, in its 2nd edition, focused its edition on the search for synergies to establish collaborations that would increase its visibility. Generating trust, increasing our memory and loyalty were the 3 axes that were addressed in these sessions, concluding that the emotional factor must always be consciously present in our relationship with Clients.
In 2017, these sessions focused on the importance of negotiating with our clients based on a basic requirement: that all parties involved satisfactorily meet their expectations. Properly preparing the variables of the negotiation and facing them assertively will be the two key elements of success.
Who would like to follow this initiative to recognize the importance of the self-employed in our country?
From here, I invite you to accompany Superman and Superwoman on their professional path. Forward!
