Awaken your Inner Leader! We are all Leaders!
This article is dedicated to my 2nd grade students at the International School of Protocol: university students who have shown me that they want to be Leaders.
In our subject "Management Skills" we have focused on Developing ourselves as Personal Leaders to take charge of our lives.
Our recommendation to those who are about to enter the world of work is to first develop as Personal Leaders, as a requirement to offer the most of themselves and achieve Professional Leadership in the future.
A Leader does not need to have a position

A Leader of the 21st century is a person who directs his life fully.
As Robin Sharma shows us in his book “The Leader Who Had No Position”, it is up to us to feel like leaders!
Spirit of service, daily work, assertiveness, self-confidence, honesty, people orientation, authenticity, respect... concepts that must be present daily in the life of a Personal Leader.
Define our goals, sBeing faithful to our values, helping, learning, building... are the "Essence" of a Personal Leader
The 6 elements to "develop" our inner Leader
- Positive Attitude: Learning from each experience, taking advantage of every minute of our lives, motivating ourselves to move forward and valuing each of the people who accompany us are the success factors of the Personal Leader.
- Self-knowledge: A Leader knows himself, accepts himself and challenges himself to improve every day. In our IPE class, each student has prepared their own SWOT, to define Weaknesses, Threats, Strengths and Opportunities. They know perfectly well what internal and external factors will help them Lead their lives.
- Confidence: In life we do not walk alone. To achieve our goals we need to trust others and build trust by enhancing our social skills.
- Communication: Transmitting our emotions and knowledge in an inspiring way will help us tune in with others and influence them positively.
- Collaboration: Working as a team means for a Leader to listen, empathize and respect the opinions of others. As a Team we achieve more and contribute greater value to our world.
- Creativity: The Personal Leader dares to leave his or her comfort zone and enjoys every learning. The Personal Leader stimulates your creativity with new experiences and new challenges. The Personal Leader has a muse, real or imaginary, that inspires him, that drives him to move forward, that gives him energy and Light.
Are you a Personal Leader who knows what you want and how to get it while respecting your environment and others?
Congratulations!
